A superb mother of pearl letter opener / paper knife carved with a dog. The piece is made in three parts, the dog shaped handle, a central section carved with two dog's heads and then the working'blade'. It is in very good condition with just one minor flaw where the central section meets the blade of the letter opener which has been filled with plaster. (5mm x 1mm only- see last photo).
