A very interesting and rare coin set sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for Chester 1905 with the makers mark being AB&S for Andrew Barrett & Sons. Small silver coins distributed by the British Monarch. Or a royal official at a Maundy Thursday service the day before Good Friday. The coins date, from the largest to the smallest, 1896, 1895, 1901, 1860 and 1905.
It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures a touch over 7 inches (18cms) long by 1 inch (2.6cms) wide and weighs 27 grams.
