You are viewing a lovely antique carved wood letter knife or page turner in the form of an elegant painted cat with a glass eye. I estimate that it was made in Switzerland at the end of the 19th century in the Black Forest style of carving. It is 18 inches in length with some minor paint and varnish loss, and some shallow nicks in the blade of the knife. Please refer to photos and feel free to ask any questions.
