Cased English Solid Sterling Silver Replica Meat Skewer Letter Opener 1986
A very interesting cased English solid sterling silver letter opener / meat skewer. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1986 with the makers marks being FH for Francis Howard Ltd.
It has been made as a copy of a George III meat skewer. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the case is also super. It measures over 8.25 inches (21.2cms) long by 1 inch (2.5cms) wide and weighs a respectable 55 grams (excluding the case). A very interesting well-made piece.
