Cased Scottish Provincial Solid Silver Letter Opener Thomas Buchanan Aviemore

A very good rare hand made Scottish solid sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for Edinburgh 1990 with the makers marks being those of Thomas Buchanan who operated from Aviemore. It has been beautifully hand made having a nicely turned wooden handle. It comes complete with its original Thomas Buchanan retail box.

It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, the case is also superb. The letter opener measures 7.25 inches (18.4cms) long and weighs 37 grams excluding the case.
