A super quality English sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for London 1977 with the makers marks being SD for Stuart Devlin one of the most highly sought after silversmiths. It has been superbly designed to mark the silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II having a large gilded coin terminal depicting her. It is in good condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs - it has been used so their are faint scratches and it does not have a case. It measures almost 7 inches (17.4cms) long by 1.5 inches (3.9cms) wide and weighs 67 grams.
