Supreme Quality George VI Hallmarked Solid Sterling Silver Sherry Decanter Label Made By The Renowned Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd. Description - Fine vintage 1930s good quality good heavy gauge solid silver letter opener with superb chased classical decoration to the thick 3mm deep silver handle, the blade is also solid silver. Fully hallmarked with leopard's head for London assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the date letter "B"for the year 1937 and the makers mark "G & S Co LTD" which is Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd. Condition - In excellent condition. Dimensions & Weight - 25.2cm long x the top of the handle is 2.7cm wide.
