1952 Solid Silver Elizabeth II Coronation Letter Opener Formed As A Sword. Full English Silver Hallmarks for Atkin Brothers, Sheffield, 1952. Stunning letter opener, shaped as a sword, the handle mounted with a crown, to one side there are the four flowers representing the United Kingdom's four countries, England the rose, Ireland the shamrock, Scotland the thistle, wales the daffodil. To the other side of the letter opener there are four designs representatives of four commonwealth countries, the star of India, the kangaroo of Australia, the Kiwi bird of New Zealand, and the Springbok of South Africa.

The letter opener is set in its original case with red velvet and cream satin lined. In very good pre-loved and used vintage condition with minor wear to the opener near the tip. This piece is already in circulation meaning no new silver has been used. The ultimate in sustainable shopping.
