On offer today is a splendid genuine Birmingham Sterling Silver Handled Letter Opener and Magnifying Glass which is very pleasing on the eyes. The piece has a genuine steel blade which has a mirrored finish. The handle is is absolutely fantastic with two ends. As the photos depict one has a letter opener and the other a magnifying glass.

It is a very rare type of handle and will not be here long. The handle is fully hallmarked with the letter r signifying 1891, along with the Lion Passant and the Anchor. The item also bears the makers mark of L&S - the makers mark for the very fantastic Levi & Salaman. The item is in fantastic condition as the photos reflect! The piece is 26 cm in length and weighs 60 grammes.
